Rogues' Gallery

Bucket Crabs

- Only enemies present in the Y1 release.

- Jumping on top of them causes them to lose their paint bucket and transfer the color to the player character. This is required to be able to paint over the sign on the center of the maze and complete the level.

- Modelling, rigging and animation by the artists in the team.

Bucket Crabs on Patrol

- Replaced the aggressive AI that directed them towards the center of the map with a streamlined behavior tree with a more manageable patrol behavior.

- The enemies use their distance from the invisible spawn locations as guiding points.

Starfish

- Stays idle until it can hear the player character, in which case quickly chases it until its out of hearing range.

- Jumping on top a starfish disables it for a few seconds. Once it reactivates, it spawns a clone of it and the original one turns red and starts moving towards the center of the map on its own.

Sea Urchin

- Stays idle until the player character enters its detection range, after that, it chases the player character relentlessly while keeping a safe distance.

- When it's inside the player character's visual range, it stops moving and extends its spikes. After a couple of seconds it retracts its spikes and resumes chasing.

- Cannot be jumped on.

- Model created by myself using Blender.

Garden Eels

- Static barriers disguised as enemies (no AI controller).

- One type (batch of 3) hides when its color matches that of the player character's acquired paint.

- The other type (batch of 4) emerges when its color matches that of the player character's acquired paint.

- Cannot be jumped on.

- Model created by myself using Blender.
